Your guide
Todd has been chasing blue cats on Milford Lake for more than 25 years. His first boat came straight out of a catfish tournament: he won $10,000 — and bought the boat on the drive home.
These days he puts that experience to work for his clients, from kids catching their first fish to anglers hunting a new personal best.
“I start getting after these big blues the day the ice comes off.”

“ANYONE that loves to fish, you have to contact Todd Clement!”
“Todd knows where to look. Highly recommend a trip with him.”
“The way you guys catch fish is just not normal.”

The lake
Milford Lake runs from Wakefield in the north down to the dam near Junction City — river channels, flats and creek arms full of big blue catfish.
SpringMar – May
Todd starts the day the ice comes off. As the water warms, blues push onto flats and up creek arms to feed — great for numbers and size.
“More truly giant fish this spring than I’ve seen in 25 years of fishing it.”
SpawnJun – Jul
Big fish get picky while they spawn, but eater and slot-size blues keep rods bent. Summer nights are the move to beat the heat.
“Spawn doesn’t mean you can’t catch big ones — you just gotta hit ’em right in the face with the bait.”
Late SummerAug – Sep
Fish come off the spawn hungry and feed heavy on shad, for big fish and eaters alike. Day and night trips both shine.
“The night bite is tough to beat right now.”
FallOct – Dec
As the water cools, the big ones feed up. Many blues hold in their home stretch mid-lake while others slide toward deeper water — Todd knows both.
“Can be the best big fish bite of the entire year.”
Every season fishes different, and Todd has spent 25 years figuring out each one. Spring, summer or fall — whenever you book, you're fishing with your best shot at a giant.
